Operation of Circuit Breaker with the help of Password

A circuit breaker is an electrical switch use to protect an electrical circuit from damage caused by faults. Its basic function is to detect a fault condition and protect from it. Fuse operates once after that it must be replaced but a circuit breaker can be reset to resume normal condition. During the manual operation, we see inoperable electrical accidents to the line man are rises during maintenance due to improper communication between the maintenance staff and the substation staff.
In order to prevent such accidents, password based circuit breaker is design so that only authentic person can operate it with a password. There is also a facility of changing the password. The system is fully controlled by the microcontroller. The password is saved in an EEPROM, interfaced to the microcontroller and the password can be changed any time. A keypad is used to submit the password and a relay to operate circuit breaker, which is indicated by a bulb. Any wrong attempt to open the circuit breaker by entering the wrong password an alert will be shown in the LCD.

Net zero pole streets light by solar PV module

People have started to move non-conventional energy source. The energy generated from non-conventional energy source should be used in effective manner. It is also eco-friendly and viable for the environments. The solar street light is an innovation take for the sustainable growth through many policies like make in India. This paper proposes a net-zero pole streets lighting by solar PV module and the mean of net-zero is that no power demand from the grid. The proposed system consists of a PV panel, LEDs lamp, and micro-inverter. In this project we have used LEDs lights due to many advantages as compare to other lamps. This LEDs lighting is very efficient (very high efficiency) and cost effective (long life). In additional in this project we used micro-inverter. This micro-inverter is converted DC supply from the PV module into AC supply and its AC supply is feed to the grid through a net-meter. In this project battery is not required.

Review on Different Evapotranspiration Empirical Equations

For optimal design and management of hydrologic balance and scheduling irrigation models, the need to measure Evapotranspiration is of great importance. It helps in predicting when and how much water is required for any particular irrigation scheme. Reference Evapotranspiration is a standard nomenclature defined by FAO to provide a reference frame although it is not a full proof equation. Several scientists have developed multiple equations based of three primary directions viz. temperature based methods, radiation based methods and mass – transfer methods. Here in this paper, we have carried out a review on most of the popular equations and the objective is to elucidate the advantages and drawbacks each one of them register when put into use. The reference equation for standardization considered here is FAO 56 Penman Montheith equation. Thirty other equations from the three schools have been analysed here. Statistical Regression Analysis methods and coefficient of determination (R2), Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) and index of agreement (d) are the analytical parameters those are to be used while estimating their acceptance in evaluating the throughputs.

RF Based Remote Control for Electrical Appliances

This work presented here is to control electrical appliances through RF based remote system. From anywhere without any line of sight, RF based wireless remote control system can change the state of the electrical appliances either in off state or in on state. The controlling circuit is built around RF transmitter and RF Receiver modules which are operating at certain frequency along with a encoder and a decoder with few passive components.
The four different channels at the encoder IC are used as input switches and the four channels at the decoder output are connected to the electrical devices through a relay. Here the transmission technique is amplitude shift keying (ASK) and the circuit is powered with 9 Volt. The main objective of this work is to control electrical appliances without line of sight requirement using the RF technology.
It has many applications like we can control any independent electrical appliance such as T.V, room light, fan just from a remote. Operating them manually is a tedious job and become hectic sometimes. If one can control devices like fan, TV, lights and music system with a remote from a distance place just by pressing the button, life will become simpler. This will make our life more comfortable and easier.

GSM Based LED Display Board

‘GSM based LED Moving Display Board’ is a system in which there is a moving sign board that helps in updating of new messages easily. The advantage of using LED in place of LCD is the better visibility of LED even from distance. LED display boards can be used for displaying digital information at many places like railway stations, shopping centre and educational institutions to many people at a time. But there is a complication in updating the message because the message can be entered using a computer and for this purpose the person needs to be at the venue of the display board. This problem can be solved by using GSM technology. With the introduction of GSM based sytem the message to be displayed can be send to a mobile through SMS. Now the person needs not to be at the place where information has to be delivered.

Wireless Controlled Door-Bell

Now-a- day’s wireless control of appliance is in practice, because of its advantage like no wire is needed, multiple controlling is less complicated. The controlling range of wireless doorbell is 100M.
As the wireless doorbell is wireless based project, it is divided into two major section i.e. transmitter and receiver.
Transmitter: This transmitter section is designed around oscillator transistor (BF194B) T2 followed by two transistor (BC148) T1 and T3. Transistor T2 generate special radio frequency determined by trimmer (variable capacitor) and coil. Transistor T1 is used as pulse generator. The output from transistor T3 is given to emitter of transistor T2 in order to get radio frequency from its collector. Trimmer VC1 is used to adjust the transmitter frequency.
Receiver: The receiver section is further divided into two main sections i.e. RF amplifier section and bell trigger section. An aerial is used to receive the transmitted frequency from remote which is further amplified by amplifier and trigger circuit. The whole receiver circuit utilizes seven transistors.
