A Modified Binary Encryption Algorithm based on Diffuse Representation

In the era of Internet, the multimedia data can be used by anyone. There is a chance that unintended users get access to the data so, encryption is needed to hide the multimedia data from the unauthorized users. This paper proposes a modified binary encryption algorithm based on diffuse representation. Here a binary image is XORed with a random matrix and is divided into more number of non-overlapping sub-images. The modified encryption algorithm will produce an encrypted image with ¼th of dimension and increased number of bits. The proposed encryption algorithm is a symmetric encryption algorithm. The number of keys generated is equal to the number of non-overlapping sub-images. The key shall be transmitted by a private key encryption algorithm. The encryption of the key is not of interest in this paper. The proposed algorithm has high performance that it gives BER as 0% and infinite PSNR. Even grayscale images can be encrypted using this algorithm considering each bit-plane as a binary image.

Autonomous Camera Movement for Robotic-Assisted Surgery: A Survey

In the past decade, Robotic-Assisted Surgery (RAS) has become a widely accepted technique as an alternative to traditional open surgery procedures. The best robotic assistant system should combine both human and robot capabilities under the human control. As a matter of fact robot should collaborate with surgeons in a natural and autonomous way, thus requiring less of the surgeons’ attention. In this survey, we provide a comprehensive and structured review of the robotic-assisted surgery and autonomous camera movement for RAS operation. We also discuss several topics, including but not limited to task and gesture recognition, that are closely related to robotic-assisted surgery automation and illustrate several successful applications in various real-world application domains. We hope that this paper will provide a more thorough understanding of the recent advances in camera automation in RSA and offer some future research directions.

The Influence of Shot Angle Variation at the Process of Dry Shot Peening to the Surface Roughness and Corrosion Resistance of the AISI 316L Austenitic Stainless Steel

AISI 316L is the austenitic stainless steel type that widely used in biomedical implant and artificial organs. This material’s cannot be hardened by heat treatment but the mechanical strength could be increased by cold working process. Dry shot peening is the one of cold working process in which the surface specimen bombarded with spherical media called shot to produce a compressive residual stress layer and modify mechanical properties of metal’s surface. The objectives of this research are to investigate the effect of shot angle variation of dry shot peening process on the surface roughness and corrosion resistance of AISI 316L.

A Novel Approach for Workflow Scheduling in Hybrid Cloud with Dynamic Datacenter

Work process is used to speak to variety of use which requires huge data figuring and limit. To vanquish this need of data computation and limit dispersed processing has created as one of the best responses for on asks for resource provider. Nevertheless, on occasion the benefits open to us may not be satisfactory, so the need develops to gather more sources from various fogs. This is done by using the Hybrid cloud. Half and half cloud is mix of open and private cloud. The private cloud is guaranteed by the customer consequently there are no extra charges for using the benefits available in it, however open cloud is controlled by others so we have to pay for the using the advantage as indicated by the businesses. The usage of the cream cloud offers adaptability to the customer. While using the half breed cloud, two most basic inquiries rises. The first is the best approach to segment the work procedure. In addition, the second one is the thing that benefit we need to get from individuals as a rule cloud so it can meet our essential inside the foreordained due date. The changed booking organization work handle for hybrid cloud give the less make span for the DAG than the main figuring and give us the best resources that we need to secure from open cloud to have enough planning vitality to arrange the work procedure inside given due date.
We have gone through with two different approaches after scheduling has been performed to check the successful transaction between dynamic and static data center. We contemplated a hybrid approach which will reduce the complexity of the network but at the same time it also perform successful transaction between dynamic datacenters .Each time the transaction has been performed between different centers or clusters the consequences are successful.

Design modification on Indian Road Vehicles to Reduce Aerodynamic Drag

Reducing vehicle fuel consumption has become one of the most important issues in recent years. Aerodynamic drag contributes to 50-60% of fuel consumption in trucks on highways. Vehicle aerodynamic performance is mainly determined by drag coefficient, which directly affects engine requirements and fuel consumption. It’s well known that drag changes in a crosswind compared with a condition without a crosswind, and that the change depends on the vehicle shape. Pressure drag, a major drag for trucks as they run at lower speeds is produced by the shape of the object. Therefore, addition of some components can suffice the need. The vehicle has been designed by using Catia and then analysed with CFD. The values are compared and the resultant drag reduction is calculated.

A variable gain PI to improve the performances of a unified power flow controller system

The instability problems in the electrical supply networks have had a great impact on recent research studies on modern devices. The unified power flow controller (UPFC) is one of the various FACTS (Flexible Alternative Current Transmission Sys-tems) devices that allow the electrical supply networks to be stable with a strong effectiveness. In this paper, the performances of such a device using both a classical PI and a variable gains PI controllers are examined. For this instance, the compensator is first stabilized before trying to stabilize the network. A series of comparative simulation tests have been undertaken for both regulators and analyzed. From the obtained results it is clearly shown that when the system is equipped with the variable gain PI regulator, the performance are much better.

Development through Gender Equity and Women Empowerment

Gender has been conceptualized from different perspectives, but whether in social or cultural terms, the evil connotation tends towards gender inequity or inequality which culminate in gender discrepancy and discrimination. The cultural values of Nigeria place women in the home passively subordinate to men in every sphere of life. The inferior status of the women cautions and sensitizes them to the possible consequences of violating social norms. Women in Nigeria have indeed been denied equal rights to basic education, economic advancement, always alienated in matters of governance through discriminatory and often times harmful traditional practices that have deliberately humiliated them. Women tend to be more sensitive to issues of affiliation, inclusion, loneliness and acceptance. They have greater tenderness, understanding and better control of emotions, which is why there can be no effective development strategy hi which women should not play a central role. Development is a process of change to a better, more advanced and highly organized conditions (Osim 2007). No full development can be attained without utilizing the potentials of the women population that constitute the substantial fraction of the total population, but women must close ranks for the total liberation and empowerment of women so that they can contribute their quota to our national development.

Youth Restiveness in Nigeria: Challenge for Counselling

The paper examined the meaning of youth restiveness in Nigeria, its causes and challenge for counselling. The youths were seen as young people who are still in the most active period of their lives. They are cognitively capable of hypothetical deductions, analysis and synthesis of situations by which they find themselves. They are restive; in other words impatient, obstinate and agitated especially when they are not satisfied with the state of things around them. The complexity of modern life makes the situation to be even more difficult for the youths, while the Nigerian factor further complicates matters for them. Some of the factors that contributed to the restiveness of youths in Nigeria include: leadership styles, economic situation, educational pursuits, poverty, unemployment, marginalization, exuberance, drugs, sexually transmitted diseases and activities of significant adults in the communities. Good guidance and counselling were seen as possible strategies that could help in harnessing the inert potentials of the youths and channeling them into vehicles for national development (if the challenges are dealt with); otherwise their restiveness could become fuel for mal-adaptive and mal-adjustive behaviour, thus constituting social problems for the nation as a whole.
