Wire Feed Rate Optimization for MIG Welding of Alu-minum Alloy 6063

MIG welding (metal inert gas welding) is an arc welding technology that generates metal coalescences by heating them with an arc between a filler metallic electrode that is constantly fed, and the work. MIG welding process lends itself to semiautomatic, robotic automation and difficult automation welding packages. The alloy fabric variety for GMAW consists of carbon steel, chrome steel, aluminium (Al), magnesium (Mg), copper (Cu), nickel (Ni), and silicon bronze. This experimental study aims at optimization of the wire feed rate during MIG weld of aluminium sheets by developing the mathematically model for the tensile strength a hardness of the aluminium specimen. In this experiment Factorial design approach has been implemented for locating connection among diverse procedure parameters and weld deposit reason. MIG Welding of aluminium alloy 6063 with Al 4043 Wire and Argon gas shielding yields excellent results.

Research on Densely-deployed Air Quality Monitoring

In this paper, the limitations of the existing air quality measurement system were identified, and factors and related cases were studied to overcome them. In the existing measurement system, it is difficult to properly understand the environment in which the user lives because the area to be covered by the measurement station is too large. In addition, since the reliable measurement method is used, the average of the previous hour's data is shared, so it is not possible to quickly grasp changes in air quality that change every minute. Based on the contents examined, it is expected that the elements to be configured so that users can receive and utilize close air quality information in real time at the location where they live is expected to be concrete.

Review on Hydrodynamic Modelling of Desalination Plants Brine Effluent Marine Outfalls

This paper presents a review on hydrodynamic modelling of desalination plants brine effluent marine outfalls. Brine effluent is a byproduct of desalination plants that must be safely discharged with little environmental impacts. Several researchers have been studying the behavior of brine effluent disposal to the sea using marine outfalls but due to its complex behavior yet it is not completely understood, where the international design standards and specifications are limited and there is no unified design approach for the marine outfalls. The dilution and dispersion ability of the ambient water body are discussed. The outfall inclination angle and current speed are also investigated.

Leadership Qualities and Sustainable Competitive Advantage: AnalyzingSmall and Medium-Sized Businesses in Erbil

This article seeks to investigate the connection between leadership qualities and sustainable competitive advantage. The research was conducted at small and medium-sized businesses in Erbil. This study assessed the influence of leadership qualities (behaviour-focused strategies, natural reward strategies, and constructive thought patterns) on small and medium-sized firms' sustainable competitive advantage. The researchers employed basic regression analysis to determine the impact of each independent variable on small and medium-sized businesses' sustained competitive advantage in the Erbil City of Kurdistan. There were a total of 280 questionnaires sent, but only 228 individuals accurately filled them out. The findings suggested that behaviour-focused strategies as a leadership quality on sustainable competitive advantage had the largest effect, while constructive thinking

Sustainability Indicators in Building Projects in Khartoum State during Construction and Operation Stages

The construction industry is a major economic contributor within developed countries and is a rising markets for developing nations. Focusing on the Khartoum state this work present the most important sustainability indicators (SIs) must applied during construction stage (COS) and operation stage (OPS) for achieve sustainable performance of the construction projects. A study was conducted by adopting the SIs relevant of SIs must be applied during the COS and OPS to achieve the sustainable performance. A questionnaire was designed to collected data. Then the weights average was used to determine the most important SIs depend on the different five scales. The results shown that the important economic indicators (ECIs) during COS are: Fair wages, client changes, productivity and profitability, and the social indicators (SOIs) during COS are: direct employment opportunities, client satisfaction, health and safety and the ratio of local employment, the result also shown that the environmental indicators (ENIs) during COS are: recycling materials, water quality, use of renewable energy system and reducing dust and noises pollution. Furthermore, the results also shown that the ECIs during OPS are: impact of project on the local economy and infrastructure, and the SOIs during OPS are: the role of project in developing services and client satisfaction, and the ENIs during OPS are: reducing chemical emissions, water pollution and waste generated, indoor quality and use of renewable energy system. The results of this research can be helpful to sustainable building planners, designers, and developers in Khartoum state to achieve the sustainability requirements.

The Health Crisis of Marginalized Populations during COVID-19 Pandemic: Challenges and Recommendations

The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic is affecting the global population adversely. The impact is not limited to health only; rather extend to affect the global economy, transport, education and largely the social integrity. The impact of COVID-19 pandemic is affecting the marginalized population more intensely. The marginalized population in the community are severely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Community support and timely intervention for these population will prevent the spread of infection to these people as well as in the community. This review discusses the impact of COVID-19 in the marginalized population and some recommendations to deal with this issue. Extensive review of literature done by using the terms of marginalized population (transgender individuals, commercial sex workers, refugees, and migrant workforces, peoples living in prison, old age homes and hospice care) with COVID-19 in the electronic databases.
